"Be faithful in small things because it is in them that your strength lies." Mother Teresa
Educational institutions are diverse. When I first entered into a classroom in Canada and look around, I perceived that entire world is sitting in my class. That was 'wow' moment for me and that was the opportunity to connect with and learn from diverse students. Here are my predominant strengths in the classroom: I believe in Connectedness
It is very easy to spot the obvious human differences; I instinctively notice the similarities that unite people. I have an extraordinary ability to see the hidden connections, even when the people in question can’t. So I remind my students of the commonalities and how important it is to connect with people at human and professional level. This strength helps me building rapport with my students and creates an effective learning environment by respecting and responding to one and all.
Positive and passionate about Collaboration
Encouraging my students is one of my greatest joys. I use my positivity talent to create a classroom that is bright and stimulating. "Let us learn together"... I say this in the very first class. I see communication barriers transforming into collaborative attitude.
Mastery in the subject
My mastery in business economics and human resources management do wonders in the explaining the toughest concepts in a simple manner in the class. I emphasize on the synergistic relationship between teaching and real world business scenarios. I add value to my classroom teaching by incorporating my professional experiences.
My students say 'keep inspiring'. And I believe that inspiring students is one of the most rewarding acts in teaching profession. Inspiration is contagious and chain keeps rolling.
